Ishqbaaz : Anika and Shivaay explore a bit of their criminal sides

Ishqbaaz begins with the two crooks planning to use Anika (Surbhi Chandna) and Shivaay(Nakuul Mehta) to reach Mumbai. They plan to make Shivaay drive. Unaware of the impending danger both of them agree to go with them. As they start the journey both the crooks realise that they are in even greater danger, as Anika would not stop talking! One of them starts losing his patience as Anika goes on and on about the story of Andaaz Apna Apna after the crooks tell their name as Amar and Prem. She laughs, she talks, she sings, she fights and so on and so forth. Shivaay asks her to just shut up for a while they can have some peace. They reach the police checkpost and the inspector asks them to park the car for checking but the Anika who has no stop button to her mouth says they have forest rangers in their car. The inspector lets them go as they already have forest officers with them. As they move ahead another police officer stop them and he asks for lift as his bike has broken down. They let him into the car. On their way ahead the police officer ask these crooks which region they report to and that they have never met before. The crooks get tensed and strangle the officer which is witness through the rear view mirror by Anika. The thieves too see that Anika has witnessed them strangling the inspector so one off them points a gun on her neck and asks her to shutup.

She now starts looking for a way to impart this new found information with her husband who quite oblivious to all this happening wonders out aloud about why the non stop Anika is not speaking. Anika tries to attract his attention to her by asking about her hair and looks but Shivaay doesn’t take the hint. Later she remembers their code about ‘oye oye’ as being a signal for danger. She starts singing out aloud Oye Oye. Confused Shivaay again fails to get the hint and asks her what she is doing. The crooks say that probably she wants to play Anthakshari. They start with ‘Goli Maar Bheje mey’. Later Anika again continues her rant about Oye Oye much to Shivaay’s frustration. She asks him how he forgot, and suddenly he remembers their agreement on the code. He looks in the rear view and sees them holding a gun to Anika. He suddenly stops the car and before the goons can realise both of them jump out of the car and towards the jungle.All the danger surrounding them dare not stop them from bickering and they fight about Shivaay taking time to remember there code.(Also Read: Shivika on the run have a romantic getaway)

The crooks find them and corner them. Shivaay asks his precious Anika to run, but Anika would not budge. He tries to convince the goons that they have nothing to do with them and they should just let them go. But thanks to Anika and her non stop radio the goons are pretty driven crazy in head and want to kill her first. Shivay will not take anyone threatening his precious right infront of his eyes and he grabs the man to hit him. But surprise surprise-someone has already outdone him- that someone being Anika without doubt she has already hit the man with a stone on head. The man falls. The other one looks for a chance to pounce on them while they still bicker about whose fault all this is. Shivaay grabs the other one as he pounces and puts him on hold while he finishes his argument with Anika. Then he picks her up and uses her as a prop to hit the goons around. Anika is genuinely pleased by their action filled job well done, and she says they are a khidkithod team indeed! But alas not so soon as one of the goons picks up the gun and points it at them and asks them to stay put.

Precap: The goons threaten to kill them and Shivaay pounces on the gun. The two struggle with the gun and as Anika looks on she hears the gun going off. She stands there utterly worried about Shivaay.
