Ishqbaaz starts with Anika (Surbhi Chandna) thinking where exactly is Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta). Omkara (Kunal Jaisingh) and the boys come home with Gauri. Anika sees him and wonders whom is he carrying? Shivaay stops her and carries her in his arms. He takes her to the bedroom to divert her attraction. Anika requests Shivaay to put her down. In the room, he makes coffee for her. By mistake, her says the meeting with Japanese went well. Anika thinks he went to meet the Australians and decides to investigate. Omkara puts Gauri (Shrenu Parikh) on the bed and looks at her lovingly. She asks SSO about the delegates.
On being cornered, he asks her why does she ask questions when she knows he will lie. Shivaay exits the room and says he needs space. He calls up Rudra and tells him to warn Omkara to be careful.
In the morning, she discusses the matter with Bhavya (Mansi Srivastava) who says something is wrong. She says he stopped me from going to Om’s room. Bhavya says Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo) too was not at home last night. Anika says I want to find out what these Oberoi Brothers are upto. Bhavya says from where do we start. Omkara and Rudra think of how to keep Gauri under wraps.
He thinks how can he hide a person. Om covers Gauri in a blanket and puts her inside the cupboard. The ladies go to his room and enquire about him. He asks if they are looking for something. Omkara tells them to be truthful. Anika sees the blanket from the cupboard and gets inquisitive. SSO enters the room and faints. Anika gets worried. They carry him to his room as Anika has panicked. She tells him to call the doc but he says no. Anika re-enters Om’s room to get the phone and finds Gauri unconscious on the bed.
Anika scolds Shivaay for abducting Gauri. She says Ajay will vent his anger on her mother. SSO says I was helpless, I cannot see my brothers crying. He says Omkara has seen a lot of sadness in his life, I want to see him happy. He says Om would have gone into depression. Shivaay says even Gauri would be unhappy with Ajay. Anika tells him that his method was wrong. He reminds her on the incident when she helped Bansi’s daughter eloped.
Shivaay refuses to accept what he did was wrong. Gauri is shocked to find herself in Omkara’s home. Anika scolds Om for kidnapping her. Gauri wakes up and rushes into his arms. She says you did the right thing by kidnapping me. Gauri says I was about to run away from there but you came before. Om says sorry for taping her mouth. She narrated how Ajay was blackmailing her. Anika forgives the brothers. Shivaay and Anika again get into an argument. He calls Anika interfering, adamant and a detective. Anika calls him egoistic, They fight and throw phones.
