Chanakya tells Chandra that they cannot let Nandini go away like this. Chanakya tells Chandra that he will lose all his capabilities if he lets Nandini leave. Chanakya feels that he has seen him as a heartless king but it is important for him to love his people.
Chanakya says that Nandini has made him realize that love is very important in anyone’s life. Chanakya tells Chandra not to be weak and asks him to find Nandini and convince her to come back to the palace. Chandra sets out in the jungle and calls out Nandini’s name and searches for her. Nandini is seen travelling in a cart and she cries remembering her past times with Chandra. Chandra and her fellow travelers suddenly hear sounds of wild animals. Everybody starts running away saying that panthers have surrounded them.
Nandini is left alone surrounded by panthers. Chandra suddenly comes there and scares the animals with fire. Nandini asks Chandra why he came after her and she can take care of herself. Chandra manages to save Nandini from the animals and tells her that he has come to take her back. Nandini refuses for it and Chandra tells Nandini that his happiness only lies with her. Nandini says that she is only filled with sorrow and there is a wall of mistrust between them.
Nandini says her final decision is to leave and she starts walking away. Chandra cries. Helena meets Apama in a cave and tells her that Nandini has left the palace. Apama instigates Helena to come closer to Chandra as he is vulnerable. Helena wishes that Apama should have been there in the palace and Apama says that she will surely return to the palace.
Nandini is walking in the jungle and she suddenly sees Chanakya. Chanakya asks Nandini how she can leave so suddenly and who will take care of Bindusar in her absence. Chanakya tells Nandini that she is a daughter of Magadh and she should not leave her people and she should not leave Bindusar. Chanakya coaxes Nandini to return or her people. Chanakya leaves and Nandini is in a dilemma. Nandini makes Bindusar sleep in her arms and Chandra is shocked to see her back in the palace. Chandra emotionally walks towards Nandini and she falls in his arms. Chandra says he cannot believe she is back. Nandini asks Chandra to stop as there is no longer any relation of husband and wife between them. Chandra tells Nandini that his name is Chandragupta Maurya and he wants to be her friend. Chandra wants Nandini to forget the past and build their future together. Chandra wants to be Nandini’s friend. Chandra asks Nandini to think about it but Nandini walks away taking Bindusar away with her. Chandra asks Nandini to stay in his room but Nandini says that he is an unknown man for her and they cannot stay in the same room. Chandra divides the room in two halves with flowers and says that she can stay on one side and he will stay on the other side. Chandra says they will make Bindusar sleep in the middle of the bed and they can take either halves of the bed. Chandra tells Nandini that they have to be mother and father for Bindusar. Chandra tells Nandini that they have to be together in front of the world for Bindusar’s sake.
Precap: Chandra announces Nandini as chief queen but she refuses to accept the post. Helen instigates Chandra against Nandini. Dadi tells Nandini that Chandra went to the jungle and someone attacked him. Nandini sets out in a boat to search for Chandra.
